These mug bodies were textured with a burlap coffee bean bag that the local roaster gave to me. I love how the glaze sits over it and how it feels to run my fingers along. The handles were pressed into an antique barn board, also given to me, then shaped and coated in an oxide to enhance the texture. 

I love this combination of textures and glaze, plus the stein shape which is a pleasure to drink from. It holds a good amount of my coffee or tea and keeps it warm with the narrow mouth. 

Microwave and dishwasher safe, though hand washing will prolong the life of your pieces.
